Elijah, the band’s lead singer and guitarist, first started playing guitar in March 2017 and wrote his first song less than a week later. In May 2017, he began singing. With that, the goal of starting a band became clear. His love for songwriting has fueled this fire.

Joseph, the band’s bassist and pianist, started off playing the keys and eventually, in April 2019, started learning how to play bass with the initial intention of playing with Elijah in Lovechild. Soon after, his ability to transform a song with the beauty of both instruments began to reveal itself.

Isaac, the band’s drummer, joined Lovechild with a tall task. He quickly learned all of the songs and just as quickly transitioned into the role as a rhythmic extraordinaire. Music is in his blood and his hard-hitting style is evidence of that.
